FCC approves Nokia N78's
North American 3G version!
Last week I briefly informed you about castrated, completely 3G-less version Nokia N78 without wi-fi functionality that appeared in the FCC's labs.
Apparently it is the castrated China version although I still can’t realize what this dedicated China model has with the independent US government agency!??
Anyway, thanks to the FCC’s SAR report for the RM-342 (Nokia service number) which verifies that HSDPA is present on both the 850 and 1900MHz bands this time around and it is the simply great news for all the US Symbian Freaks around.
To be honest I am not that much excide about this phone, features before all, you know, but if you one of those who waiting for this cute baby.
After the truly shocking news last week you can finally put a lil’ smile on your face, phone will be available in US with the wi-fi and 3G support of course ;)
