ShakeMe by Samir - Video preview!
Shake me baby one more time!
Everything about Mr. Samir is already very well known, he is very talented French developer who has created several innovative application (RotateMe, NokMote and ShutUp, upcoming LoudUp & ShakeMe) based on the accelerometer technology as well as the very first YouTube player.
Anyway, as you may have already know, two new mystic applications appeared on the Samir's web site few weeks ago without any further information.
LoudUp & ShakeMe, that's all we had and it was really hard to guess what is behind this names and what we can expect.
Finally my friend P@sco came with more info about one of them, actually he just released the video that shows ShakeMe in action. Same as all other Samir's applications, ShakeMe uses the Nokia N95 Accelerometer Plug-in package to hook into the tilt sensor and to detect movement in the orientation of the phone and to take the control over the some functions.
As you can see from the video below, it allows you to access few functions by shaking the phone based on the currently active mode. ShakeMe supports modes like Keylock (similar to recently announced Manu's ShakeLock), Silent, Backlight and Bluetooth.
Of course this is just a preview and application still isn't available for public but I truly hope that it will hit masses soon as it looks very promising and incorporates few handy shake controls into one single application.
Here is the Samir’s video presentation
Modes:
Key Lock: Lock/Unlock your keypad by shaking your phone.
Bluetooth: Activate/deactivate bluetooth state by shaking your phone.
Silent: Activate/deactivate silent profile by shaking your phone.
Backlight: Switch the backlight on by shaking your phone.

Reactivity: The higher this setting is, the longer you have to shake your phone.
Sensitivity: The higher this setting is, the stronger you have to shake your phone.
