EQ Restart for 3rd Ed
Freeware System Utility

Another cool application from the Russian developers (EQ Soft) that have developed handy EQ Alt Tab application for 3rd edition phones.

EQ Restart is a small system utility, extremely simple application that has similar functionality as the pyRestart but this one doesn’t require the Python to be installed. EQ Restart quickly reboots your phone actually triggers the hidden reboot API and force system to reboot.

You should keep in mind that it lacks UI completely and restart phone immediately after launching with no extra questions, so be careful ;)

We all know that Symbian is open to new features and with all this cool new features that we are getting lately thanks to the 3rd party developers our lovely phones becomes sluggish sometimes and requires the restart to free up RAM and increase the over all speed.

Unfortunately restart is one of the missing features and standard shoot down – boot up procedure is quite annoying especially if you have enabled PIN code and therefore it is highly suggestible to install this small utility. It is simple, it is small, it brings fast reboot to S60 phones and best of all it is completely free so give it a try.
