I got some good news and bad news, which do you want to hear first? Well, although I am pretty sure that you would like to hear bad news first I’ll start post with a good part.
Damian has been very busy and productive these past few days, and surprised me with a huge update, almost all accelerometer based applications that he developed lately have been optimized and now work smoother and bring some new features as well.
Although there are no radical improvements it is still highly suggestible to get the latest version's of the pyPiwo, pyRybka, pyMoneta and pyPoziomica, code is rewritten, and requires less processing power and memory, which also means less battery consumption, and maximizes efficiency and achieves smoother transition effects.
Unfortunately the bad news is really bad, I just want to let everyone know that Damian has decided to truly stop further developing for the Symbian S60 platform and I just can’t tell you how sad I am, I really enjoyed in his software, and this is probably the saddest post in SF history.
I just hope that this is not a final decision and he will surprise us with some other cool application's sooner or later, it's kind of sad when very talented developer with really great unique ideas has to stop with s60 development. He certainly has a great developing work ethic and some good ideas, so I hope he persists with his programming.
I also take this occasion to thank you once again for all those cool applications, and to ask you to keep up the good work Damian, you software is very well known, and brings a lot of fun in what is a usually boring Symbian world.
If you have decided to stop with developing for Symbian platform, I know that lot of freaks will be really sad about that decision because without you and your software, we will fall back into nothingness and weariness.
I feel like a little child somebody's left there is no rain
