Pic2Theme for 3rd edition
Create your own theme in three simple steps

Pic2Theme for 3rd editionYou know that I am not writing that much about the commercial applications and that I am mainly oriented on supporting freeware developers and their application but this is the application that definitely deserves to be mentioned.

Anyway, Pic2Themeis the 3rd party tool that enables the creation of theme to customize the appearance of the user interface straight on our lovely phones in three little steps, of course application isn’t as good as the Theme DIY application that supports templates but it brings a very handy crop feature and doesn’t requires anything more than few click to get it to work.

In short it allows simple theme creating and use them immediately and directly on your phone. For example all you have to do is to point camera to your girlfriend take a shot, open application, choose template, choose taken image as the theme background and surprise she in less than 2-3 minutes, pretty good isn’t it?!

Of course, this small (actually not so small) utility isn’t as powerful as the PC theme editor (Carbide.ui S60 Theme Edition 3.1) but still it is pretty handy solution. Especially if your PC isn’t powerful enough to run Carbide.ui or Carbide interface is simply too complicated for you.

So is you aren’t familiar with those graphic formats like bmp, svg, vector, raster or applications like Corel, Illustrator, PhotoShop sounds strange for you and you just want to setup full screen wallpaper in few single steps you should give it a try, you’ll not be sorry.

I just hope that Nokia listen our wishes and that Nokia Beta Labs will offer freeware application with similar functionality.
