Well, New Year is here, finally, so Happy New Year once again, let's start it well with some really, really good news ;)
To be honest, I’m still a little bit tired and sleepy, parting has many downsides, but a few great moments with my friends and girlfriend make it worth it. Anyway, after mentioned nice party and few hours in the bed I’ve just found one really good news for all fanatic S60 freaks over the our forum section.
It seams that Dominique Hugo, the creator of famous FExplorer, probably the most popular 3rd party application, is preparing to release FExplorer for 3rd edition. The long-awaited FExplorer for 3rd edition devices is on the way, actually it’s almost done.
Dommi has fully working demo version (FExplorer BETA 1.16 for 3rd Edition) that only lacks certificate, although application itself still isn't available for download, but Dommi says it will be soon!!!!

Although it seams that he has still has some serious problems with certification process and therefore it will probably be a non-signed version that requires to be signed with a proper certificate (DevCert, etc) to be able to install it and run it (otherwise, you'll get a security error message).
I’m really excited about and I’m curious which adapted features would be useful or useless in the new platform version? I really doubt that some useful Fex features could survive in the unfamiliar s60 3rd environment?
However considering that a 3rd party file manager is probably one of the first applications you would need on your device and is crucial tool for all symbian freaks this is extremely good news, although there are already few compatible file mamaners like SysExplrer, yBrowser and Sexplorer.
