RotateMe v2.0 Beta 5 is out!
Auto-Rotation for the N95 is just a click away!!
I am so happy to announce that famous and long awaited auto rotation application for Nokia N95 is out of closed period of beta testing and officially available free download and public testing of the latest beta 5 version. Indeed, few days later than it was promised but it is finally here and free ;)
For those who don’t know, Rotate Me uses the Nokia N95 Accelerometer Plug-in package to hook into the accelerometer and to detect movement in the orientation of the phone and translates this input to controlling the UI orentation.
Although application has been improved a lot through the closed beta testing period, and I can personally confirm that it works very well now, Samir still need some feedback about the latest beta 5 version.
So if you have something to say about or maybe just to thanks to Mr. Samir for this great piece of soft, please go over at forum section and tell whatever you want to about. If no major bugs will be reported in next few days, Samir will proceed with request to Symbian Signed to get application signed and make it available for wider and unlimited distribution.
In my personal opinion this is the great and very useful application and there is no doubt that they should give the certificate as soon as possible and actually with new and improved Symbian Signed service it shouldn’t be the problem at all.
I gave him as big compliments as I could muster already so I’ll only appeal on you that if you find this application useful and want to support its development and motivate developer for further work on this as well as on other application (Nokmote, ShutUp and YTplayer), you are welcome to make a small donation if you can afford it of course. I’ll do it tomorrow morning once again, few beers les or more who really care, he definitely deserves it.
Oh yes, one more thing, a public and free unsigned version of the Nokmote application should be out on end December as the nice New Year present from Samir ;)
