HandyWi

HandyWi mobile client is able to connect to any WLAN 802.11a/b/c/g hotspot including WISPr enabled public WiFi networks FON (world largest WiFi network) and Zebra (Lithuanian WiFi provider).

Once you connected to a hotspot in the certain area you will be able to:

  • HandyWiGet information about what is going on around the place where you are, latest discount offers from the store nearby, exibitions in the museum over the corner, map of the disctrict and many more (please note that this funtionality is only available on certain WLAN networks only)
  • Try out latest mobile applications from our partners for example VoIP client from WiFiMobile, or chat client from GoTalkMobile
  • Browse the WEB at broadband speed, make VoIP calls, check you email or chat with your friends
HandyWi features

Using HandyWi is extremely easy, you do not have to learn about how to activate application, no credits cards or registartion needed, just install, connect and use. Here is full list of features HandyWi is offering:

  • Filtering of hotspots, separated view for public WLAN networks (FON/Zebra)
  • HandyWi clearly shows which access point is secure and which is not
  • Single internet access point (HandyWi APN) for all applications (mail, web browser, char etc.)
  • Easy account management, several user accounts possible (scratch card, prepaid etc.)
  • Access to the location based media information, loaded each time you connect (works on selected WLAN networks only)
  • Automatic hotspot discovery and alert feature
  • Automatic connection to the hotspot which has stronger signal

Follow this instruction to connect to public access points of the supported WLAN providers. When connecting to public WLANs please make sure you have a valid account (username and password) before you proceed.
