pyBattery v1.3
freeware battery manager for S60 3rd ed devices
pyBattery is the small freeware Python based application, battery manager actually that provides an opportunity to constantly monitor the state of the battery, to monitor charging and lifting charger of the phone and provides the customizable audio signal at full charge.
Application works in three different modes, Charging mode, AntiVor and the Info mode and it is the pretty useful application in combination with the Nokia Energy Profiler.
Further more it has one really cool option, its ability to show the battery status and the current time in a fully customizable mini window.
However, the good old Murphy’s Law strikes back and unfortunately as usually there is a bad side to this however. Currently it is only available in Russian and even worse in Cyrillic alphabet, so if you aren’t familiar with this language and alphabet it can be pretty difficult to use it but as I understand Russian a little bit I can help you with UI understanding over at our forum section.
Currently trying to reach developer and ask about English version, I am ready to assist on translation, will keep you informed of course.
New in version 1.3:
- Fixed errors and weaknesses in the program:
- Work and AntiVor charging mode
- Estimated timing charge now works
- Mini window is without a shadow now
- Minor changes in the interface
- Capacity is shown in the fully customizable mini window o
- Overall 100% efficiency!
Possibilities:
- Three operation modes
- Warning signal when battery is fully charged
- Estimated timing charge (beta)
- Courant and the warning sound when Low Battery
- Mini window with information on the charge and the time
- Self-choice melodies mp3 to signal for each mode
To get it to work you have to install Python 1.4.1 and miniPyModulePack and the application is supposed to be installed to the phone's memory as well as the module pack.
