Interesting Nokia handset concept
with fingerprint-scanning display?

We got lot of cool applications, innovative concepts and patents from Nokia research labs lately, innovations that shapes the future of the mobile handsets.

Guys over at IntoMobile have found another Nokia patent that is most probably related to the upcoming S60 (5th edition) Touch UI devices that should be released next year and I truly hope that some of the spotted innovation will be actually included in the device that we are fanatically waiting for.

Anyway, Finnish giant has filed a patent application for a handset that uses a screens as some kind of fingerprint scanner to determining which user profile to use and even more important to verify security which is quite better solution in comparison to pins and various different security codes.

Nokia going to extend the touch screens with much more functionally and extend touch ability with tactility feedback, fingerprint scanning and so on, I can’t wait any more, I want one demo device to test it our right now :)
