+ My lovely N95 is less or more dead after just half year!!
04 November 2007
Every click I make, every call I take
Every single day, every game I play
I'll be missing you!
Hello all, it has been a very bad and hectic week(s) for me, our lovely site is under nasty hack attack, someone desperately trying to kill SF, forum section especially and I have to deal with it on a daily basis. Unfortunately it takes most of my spare time and therefore I am not active on the front page and forum section as usually, sorry because of that, Itruly hope that deep in your hearts you can find the strength to forgive me :(
However, I am getting better and better, day by day in preventing these attacks and it looks quite better last few days but I still don’t know who and even more important why!?
Anyway, let’s go back to the point, beside the mentioned security related problems I got another one two days ago.
Well, I guess that you’ll agree with me that life is a difficult, harsh, excruciatingly sometimes and that is an unavoidable fact and I am sad to say that my lovely phone is less or more dead after just a half year. Yeah, I am talking about my Nokia N95! Sure I have lot of options, Nokia N90, Nokia N93, 6110 navigator, Nokia N81 but I loosed my first phone and therefore I feel so sad, actually I just can’t find the right words to express how desperate I am.
To be prices phone is not really dead, it works well actually but the screen is messed up completely and therefore it is impossible to use it. The most interesting part is the fact that it occurred overnight while I was sleeping, phone was on the charger and I didn’t even touch it but it anyway surprised me with a dead screen after early wake-up call!? What a weird issue?
After the initial shock I’ve decide to solve the mystery, I dismantle it completely and it seems that the flat cable is partially broken but I have to be honest and say that I am not sure either, it could be the screen related issue as well and if it is the case it will cost me a little fortune to fix it because I have no warranty as I got it from Nokia for free. TO be sure that phone is OK and that I really have the problem with mentioned cable or the screen I’ve connected it on the TV and it works just fine, image on the TV is fine while the phone’s screen is still messed up completely.
I feel like a little child somebody's left there is no rain
Last but not the least it seems that this is not an isolated issue; I read lot of screen related complains and got some reports at our forum section as well. I just hope that you are among those lucky owners and that Nokia know by what it is caused and they have already fix it on renewed N95 models.

What else to say!? Nothing, nothing beside that life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away and this is the one of them definitely.
