By what we know for now it will be a huge departure from the S60 phones like we uses nowadays.
From other hand, in my personal opinion Nokia, Samsung and some other leading brands already have an IPhone killer, actually Nokia has released it a few years ago with its first S60 phone, the famous and revolutionary Nokia 7650 and this is just a logical evolution of the S60 platform not a really attempt to produce an iPhone killer.
Anyway, MacWorld reports that Apple may put up a fight against Nokia in order to stop it from infringing on Apple's 200 touchscreen patents featured in the Apple iPhone, an analyst predicted today.
London-based analyst Richard Windsor said Nokia may see delays as it moves to release new products to compete with Apple’s iPhone and its touchscreen display. Windsor told Market Watch that he expects Apple to protect its patents as Nokia works on a new s60 model that will feature touchscreen technology.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs left little doubt that Apple was fully prepared to protect its technology when he introduced the iPhone in January 2007. Describing the iPhone’s touchscreen display as far more accurate than any touch display, Jobs added, “And boy, have we patented it.”
While a court battle is certainly an option in this situation, Windsor thinks that Nokia will more likely try to enter an agreement with Apple for the technology.
