Samsung Rumored to Launch i550
GPS Enabled S60 Smartphone
Another lazy morning, another cup of coffee, I didn't sleep very well last night, can’t telly you how hot is here nowadays and I am so sleepy and lazy today but I just have to post something before the beach, hope my girlfriend will forgive me because of the little delay ;)
Well, it seems that folks at Samsung are pretty busy nowadays, we got lot of new phones form the and finally I found the interesting one among all these stylish but dummy creatures.
Anyway, by some latest rumours, the Samsung i550 will be the latest Samsung attempt to produce Symbian, S60 Smartphone for European markets after the recently announced but not so popular D-720, SGH-Z600, SGH-i520 and finally stylish SGH-i400 that was announced at S60 summit in Madrid few months ago.
Not much is known about this one, just a based and unconfirmed specifications and rumour that phone will be equipped with GPS and run Symbian OS and S60 U, although I’m not sure about UI as I can’t locate the pencil or the menu key on the photo.
According to rumors, i550 is the first Samsung GPS-enabled phone with HSDPA, beside that it features a 3.2MP camera and a 2.6-inch display.
The Samsung i550 will also features dedicated keys for GPS, music player and internet browser. Other specifications include a 2.6" display, FM radio with a 3.5 mm jack, 128 MB RAM, microSD card slot and microUSB. All that packed into candy bar form factor and pretty relatively small size of 115 x 53 x 13.8 mm.
