Go for a swim with your SD card!

Sadly, the new waterproof SD cards for mobiles won't allow you to make a voice calls or surf the web underwater but could make you feel more secure on the beach.

Although I doubt that too many people will feel the need to bring a card with them while scuba diving, maybe only if you have some really important military related information on it :)

Actually the only real advantage of these waterproof cards are that you’ll probably not loose your data if you drop the phone in the sea during vacation, sure phone will be bricked but your information will survive diving.

Based on the provided pictures, it seems that Buffalo will have miniSD and microSD card varianats that could survive a little of the wet stuff and that’s all we know about, there is no sign of price, specifications or availability.
