CeBIT Visitors Protected from
Mobile Phone Viruses by New Zealand Software

New Zealand software company SimWorks has teamed up with Jamba, Europe’s leading portal for mobile entertainment and downloads, to offer free mobile virus protection for visitors to CeBIT.

Users of mobile telephones can install the latest SimWorks software free of charge during CeBIT, which runs from the 9th to 15th March. They can either send an SMS with the word "simworks" to 33 33 3, and the software is sent to their mobile phone. Otherwise users can go online and download the virus protection from www.simworks.biz/cebit

The software offer protects phones based on Symbian UIQ and Series 60 free of charge for 30 days. SimWorks anti-virus offers automatic virus scanning and automatic updates.

Mobile virus and spam threats include SMS spam and programs that delete directories or covertly dial expensive overseas numbers. SimWorks continuously researches defences against new threats and updates protection for its customers.
