Cheaper Nokia E61 version
FCC Approved!
PhoneScoop reports that the FCC has approved a cheaper unreleased version of the few days ago approved Nokia E61.
Although the two phones look similar at the first sights but there are some major differences. The e62 lacks both 3G and Wi-Fi possibilities but at the same time it still includes Bluetooth and IR ports.
According to MobileBee, the Nokia E61 business phone will be available around mid March. Of course it's all just rumours, but we'll just have to wait and see.
It also switches out the Pop-Port in favor of a standard mini USB and 2.5 mm headset jack. The e62 also features a slightly modified keyboard in order to accommodate a "My Own" key. This key is present on all Series 80 devices and is meant as a shortcut for favorite user-installed applications and documents.
The e62 appears to run the same version of S60 as the e61, however it does not appear to have the email connectivity from Blackberry, Visto, Seven and others.emoves both 3G and Wi-Fi from the device but still includes both Bluetooth and IR.
