Nokia E61 On Its Way Soon,
FCC Approved

Another busy day for the employers at the FCC lab, after N91, N80, 3250, E70, Nokia Wireless Audio Gateway AD-42W they have approved another phone for use in America, the Nokia E61.

According to MobileBee, the Nokia E61 business phone will be available around mid March. Of course it's all just rumours, but we'll just have to wait and see.

The E61 is from Nokia's E-Series (other two E-Series phones are the E60 and E70) which is targeted for business users but I know certain SMS addicts who are gonna love having this powerful tool.

The handset same as E61 features a QWERTY keyboard which makes typing quite easy. The E61's large screen contains 16 million colors, phone also supports multiple email clients like BlackBerry Connect, GoodLink, Nokia Business Center, Seven Mobile Mail, Seven Always-On Mail and Visto Mobile. The new mobile phone also lets you send and receive emails while you are talking on the phone. Estimated price for this business phone will be around $499.99.

The Nokia E61 is designed in the familiar style of today's most popular mobile email devices. Yet it is incredibly slim and packed with powerful new functionality.

A cinch to use with either hand, the device has a four-way joystick and full keyboard combined with a wide 16 million color screen making mobile email easier than ever before. Supporting multiple mobile email clients like BlackBerry Connect, GoodLink, Nokia Business Center, Seven Mobile Mail, Seven Always-On Mail, and Visto Mobile, the Nokia E61 provides seamless and encrypted mobile connectivity. Full attachment handling (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF viewer and ZIP manager) and an editing function (document, spreadsheet and presentation) are included.

The Nokia E61 also includes the same advanced business call features and IP-based telephony functions as the Nokia E60 and Nokia E70. The Nokia E61 can send and receive emails, even when on a phone call. The Nokia E61 operates in GSM850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA2100 networks.
