    Trying to connect 3G with my N900 with T-mobile (solved)

Easiest way is to call 611 and get one of tech support people that's familiar with setting up unlocked phones. They will send a message to your phone that automagically sets the proper APN for your area.

If you couldn't get proper help from T-Mo you just didn' talk to the right person. They have people very familiar with this.
