Hello,
So yesterday i went to Phones4u to ask when's the N900 coming (i know its already come) just still. So imagine the guy tells me why dont you go for the N97 as the N900 will take 3-4 months and its the same as N900 just Nokia is marketing it in different ways and blah blah. He was trying to teach me. Then he goes on to say that i have an N97 as well. His phone rings then and it was a blackberry and he's like i have 2 phones.
Then hes like £35 a month free phone 1200 mins unlimited texts unlimited web browsing. I was pretty irritated as I didnt want the phone and he was going on and on. Then he gets a box pack and opens it, he was full on trying to convince me.
Then i go to the vodafone store as they told me two weeks back that the N900 would arrive in a few days. He had a demo piece and for £35 a month 700 mins unlimited texts and unlimited web browsing. So the guy said we dont have any in stock right now but our other stores will have it so you can get it from there.
So imagine he tells me to wait for 3-4months and i cross the road and get the phone in my hand.
So coming to the point
i think its easier to type on the N97 BUT BUT BUT the N900 was also good. So yeah i liked the phone and everything was good.
So to all the N900 owners should i GO FOR IT ? or wait a bit for improvements?

Salespeople will tell you what ever they need to get a sale at the time. Im sure they were instructed to shift as many N97's as possible before the arrival of the N900. The difference is so big in performance it seems that N97's are unless heavily discounted going to lose out in most head to head purchase decissions with a N900

I got my N900 like 45 minutes ago and I already love it
I have only tried the N97 briefly in a shop and it felt like a good phone but I didn't like the UI that much.
I would go for the N900, it feels more future-safe, but the N97 have more apps I think. At least at the moment.

Why the F..k!!!! is it taking so much time for N900 to launch in india. I went to a local nokia store and asked for Nokia N900 and that dumbass was surprised in way as if such device would even exist

Dont think there is really any competition between the N97 and the N900 I had the N97 and sold it after just 2 weeks of using it definitley not the phone to go for.

Hi
First thing i had the N97 and DIDN´T like it as it was nothing special, its like all the N Series phone from nokia, good upto a point. Now am using the N900 which is far ahead of any other nokia out now. I move from a HTC Touch diamond running windows 6.1 and i have to say the N900 is even better that that. If you dont have the N900 you are missing out.
