An Improved Dual Panel Calendar Widget For Nokia N97 Homescreen
I made a homescreen widget for my Nokia N97 with a feature I was missing and I thought it might be useful to some folks over here.
It is a calendar events list in dual panel mode with the following 10 events of your calendar from the current time on. It's made to replace the default Nokia's calendar widget which is really dumb and not very informative.
I like to have my important information with just a glance to my mobile, so I'm reminded more frequently of what's ?coming next? this week/day. It's made of 2 widgets: ComingNext & ComingNext B, each showing the first 5 and second 5 elements in your calendar. You can use only 1 if you need the widget spa... .. .
Version 1.20 is available directly from Sourceforge so it's easier for users to find the latest version, all thanks to Oxydative who has put most of the effort in making it work smoothly and without erros.

This is an awesome job man!
[edit]
You think it's possible for you distinguish between reminder and a note? I have a few notes in the calendar and all of them are displayed with 00:00 time. And original calendar widget doesn't open current day, it opens day with current reminder. I think yours should too, with the nearest one.

All right, updated to 1.01 to fix some language localizations I couldn't check up to now. Thanks krisq for noting it.

Now it's almost perfect.
Few things though:
After a click, I think it should jump to a day with the nearest reminder not just open the calendar. We have date in the right corner to do that and it would be more logical that way.
Something wierd is happenning when I open the calendar through your awesome widget few times in a row. Calendar startup starts to slowdown a bit and sometimes your widget is the only thing on the screen. Somekind of memory leak maybe?
And finally, is it possible to remove the widget icon from task manager?
[edit]
One more thing. Maybe the reminders from next month should also have a 'month' in the date to avoid confusion?
I.e.:
Wed 26 dentist
Wed 02/09 Mom's birthday!
Fri 02/10 Party!
[edit2]
You'll hate me but one more idea. If it's the reminder's day it should say 'Today' instead of date.
