Nokia Is Going To Wait For 'Mango' To Release Its First Windows Phone Powered Smartphone!?

According to Guardian, Nokia will not adopt the Windows Phone 7 platform and will wait for the next major release of the operating system, codenamed ‘Mango’, which is expected to be available this coming October.
Nokia’s chief executive announced last week that Nokia will abandon its market-leading in-house Symbian smartphone platform but from other hand, he has been careful throughout the week to refer to the adoption as Windows Phone – and not Windows Phone 7.
Elop has also repeatedly refused to offer any timescales for the introduction of Nokia handsets running Windows Phone, saying only that Nokia expects to ship them "in volu... .. .

So, Nokia is always launching new and unfinished things, when is going to finish something good?

actually this deal doesnt sound all that bad after i saw what features are going to be added in the Mango update...i mean the biggest one we symbian-freaks care about is Multi-tasking right?..but thr still are a no. of features that need to be included to make Symbian users feel at home with WP7..I hope Nokia gets them all right by the time I outlive my N8

Yeah, MT is important same as copy/paste and it going to be fixed soon, maps should be fixed by Nokia itself, but we also need a decent file manager, mass storage mmode, USBtogo, BT file transfer, AVRCP profile, internet tethering, better landscape support, divix playback, flash support and so on and so on ....

haha..I agree..we're jus too used to all these goodies with S^3..thr's no way we're going backwards now
