Web 2.0 Expo Summary: Mobile Services Based On Social-Location



At this year's Web 2.0 Expo conference in San Francisco this year, Nokia has demonstrated Green Explorer, a new Eco-Friendly service that helps people make more sustainable travel decisions, introduced Ovi Store, explained its publishing system and announced first public beta version of company's Point & Find service.

Nokia has also begun working with Tim Kring, creator and executive producer of HEROES, one of the most watched shows internationally, to develop innovative, new content for the Ovi Store.

Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia's Executive Vice President of Nokia's Markets division, has presented Social Location as a key point in making mobile computers truly personal for the us... .. .
