A New Hacking Method! Nokia's S60 Platform Is Hacked Again!!!



In an attempt to prevent one of the most creative solution in the hacking/modding scene and to close the security hole on all S60 models to stop the hacking activities Nokia has introduced new firmware versions for most of their S60 powered phones and the only purpose of all these minor updates is implementing new anti-hacking measures?!?

Fortunately, Nokia?s second attempt to find a way to kick users of the full system access was unsuccessful once again and our Deltafox has managed to find a new weaknesses and S60 platform is hacked again :] Now it's possible to view all system folders and files on s60 v3 devices, where normally this was impossible due the antihacking measures.

With the risk of repeating myself I'll say that hacking is not necessarily a bad thing, for me hacking is just desire to fully understand something, and I truly want to learn as much as I can about my phone, learn how it works and how to get mo... .. .

Taking I Sprout From a Post Of Alex_N70 I have Improved writing this guide and the necessary soft a Procedure To TEST for it has him on further models of phone a FW not Hackable..

Is a test ( Not done by me ) that seems to have shown valid on N82 Fw v30..

Who wants to collaborate posting the results she can do it here.. Thanks...

REQUISITE
- Phone Whit Fw not Hackable

PROCEDURE

a) For the one that doesn't have the Drive Y and he wants to emulate it to install MapDrive_JBakTM_EMU_Y_By_DeltaFoX.SISX

or for certificated problems Sign and instal MapDrive-3_EMU_Y_By_DeltaFoX.SISX + install JBakTaskMan.sis

a1) For the one that doesn't have the Drive H and he wants to emulate it to install MapDrive_JBakTM_EMU_H_By_DeltaFoX.SISX

or for certificated problems Sign and instal MapDrive-3_EMU_Y_By_DeltaFoX.SISX + install JBakTaskMan.sis

You will find again you 2 new programs MapDrives e JBakTaskMan

b ) To Create a Folder E:\Hack\sys\bin\

c) Copy inside E:\Hack\sys\bin\ installserver.exe related to her own Phone

d) Start Now JBak Taskman soft and go (Struments -> Start App.ni -> select MapDrives -> Programs Rule -> select "AutoStart")

e) Restart Phone

To this point with any explorer ( x-plore - Activefile etc ) you should see the new Emulated unity

H: in the case you have installed : MapDrive_JBakTM_EMU_H_By_DeltaFoX.SISX

Y: in the case you have installed : MapDrive_JBakTM_EMU_Y_By_DeltaFoX.SISX

f) Install Modo. And from the modo file man(will be in the mainmenu>leftup) copy Installserver to - Y:/sys/bin/
With To the inside the Folder SYS\BIN\installserver.exe

g) If you are now trained to the installation of any application not signed you can Install BINPDA Sec Platform hack.sis or ROMPatcher (autorun).sisx to train or I lead the CapsOFF / ON

If I understand what you're doing correctly, you're creating a directory on the memory card, putting sys\bin\installserver.exe in that directory, then mapping it to its own drive letter such that the installserver.exe eclipses the one in ROM.

This would work perfectly except for the fact that mapping drive letters requires the DiskAdmin capability, one of the most guarded capabilities (almost as much as TCB). This isn't an issue on phones that have already been hacked, but that defeats the entire point of this technique.

I would love to be proven wrong, however.

i would go ahead and test it provided someone gives fo2 owners a link to that installserver.
