Downloaded, and installed fine on my N96, however, upon launched it, it crashed my OS, and only way to get back the usability of the device was to drop the battery.
Uninstalled.

It is so pathetic that i was not even going to open it for the second time, but reading this post made me open the app second time just to see whether it works or not.
It opened fine for me, no problems. Did you download it on your phone itself before opening or via the pc? Try download directly on the phone.
But frankly, dont bother with so much trouble, it is simply not worth it. The UI and the slow speed, you are much better off using the built in S60 browser when you want the features and video playback, and Opera Mini when you want super quick browsing.

But at least on my N85, it works the first time after install, great, but the second time, it won't even start up. I have tried install it both to the phonememory and the memorycard...it won't work.

Works fine for me on my N95-1 and my wifes N82 Black.
But,
Sometimes after heavy use, when I exit the browser the phone restarts (both N95 and N82, so it's not a memory problem).
Also, it's such a pain that when I start Skyfire, I have to select the access point many times (4 o 5 times) before I can use the browser.
Cheers!

downloaded and installed it. Seems quick and easy to use.
When i start skyfire after selecting access point 4 or 5 times i get a blank white screen. The only way to get part this is to go jbak taskman and them back into skyfire.
Another thing is if i go onto youtube to watch a video i can't seem to get the sound to work. The volume is set to 0. Any one else had this problem.

This version is far worse then the beta !!
I just installed on my Nokia N95 8Gb and when starting Skyfire it got a white screen I had to press the menu key for a few secs and choose Skyfire before I could actually use it! Browsing worked fine (But wasn't better then previous beta.)
But then when exiting Skyfire my phone crashed and I had to restart.
This isn't good they should fix all this right now or take it from there website !!

Besides audio streaming, I don't care for Skyfire. It does little the default browser doesn't do better. However, here's the good part. Using a mobile view is ridiculous for most pages with alot of embedded Flash, etc. A better idea is using Opera Mini. But for the few pages the default browser won't play, like hulu.com, its great. And all the rendering is done on their end, so they can add Silverlight or any new rendering method without us upgrading anything. So it serves a purpose.
On a side note, has anyone changed the values in the Skyfire zoom settings file? Can you customize the zoom level with that file? If you're not sure what I mean, let me know. There's a file with the x and y values in it.

First of all thanks for the info.
I've installed it to my N82, and like the previous one, when first start it just a white screen with blinking cursor, have to go back and hit the skyfire again.
works fine but alittle bit heavy on load a page. Well..... not bad for the anticipated one.

The blank screen is because a component of PIPS (specifically STDIO Server) ins installed and opens a console everytime a PIPS application is opened. This often happens with Ngage games.
You can safely remove the STDIO Server from the App Manager.
Does your phone restarts after heavy use of skyfire (surfing on Youtube, Facebook, and so on)?????
Cheers!
