I though this thread can be enhanced for newbie who would love to see a new color OPLOGO on their S60 3rd edition phone.

FAQ:

How do you do this?

You'll require to perform the Hack to override permission which can be found http://www.symbian-freak.com/forum/view ... hp?t=17997
This hack will give you access to c:/PRIVATE/1000850/

How to access c:/private?

You'll need to grab and install Y-Browser. You can download it http://www.drjukka.com/YBrowser.html

What type of graphics required?

You'll need MBM format and I believe Symbian-Freak do have MBM tools for download. Used High graphics for it and for better color 24bit is needed.

Size?

Depend on your phone. Each will have different size. In my case N95 and E90 will have different OPLOGO size.

Is the new OPLOGO are MultiOperator?

YES! finally we can have more then 1 OPLOGO. Just make more then 1 using this format Logo_MCC_MNC_OTA.mbm. In my case Indonesia have 3 main operator. So I create 3 logo and depend which card that I used the beatifull logo will appear. Oh yeah, I planning to create more, so when I travel overseas their OPLOGO also appear nicely in color.

I believe that is several FAQ from me. Anyone else want to add it?

Application for changing OpLogo is already exist..
It called OpLogoChanger, and it's need to be signed by leftup's cert, because it uses access to system folders.
I havenot used this app, I just seen it on other site..

No need changing oplogo.. just create more logo and drop them into c:/private/ with different MCC and MNC and you r set.

In my case I have 3 logo for 3 operator. No need to exchange anything. I dont see why you required the exchange program. ehehehehe..

Indonesia so far I have 3..
Going to make several for Singapore and HK
Maybe someone from the states can give US MCC and MNC? AT&T and TMobile

This way you will always have your Colorfull OPLOGO when u r traveling..
