Very nice way to kick things off here .. i like the Design, i really do, but i'd prefer it in black/white hehe .. would look even better ..

LoL that's amazing eloi, and I'm stuck at 68... I've been in 68 for the longest time that I'm starting to think that somethings wrong LoL!

Right, done the dark version of my design (I call the original "Dirty Doodles", so this one is "Midnight Doodles" ) and submitted it:



Given how long the original is taking to get through, I guess you'll be able to vote for it a day or so before the contest finishes ;>_<;

actually i submitted it on 23rd of may and received the reply on 17th june, so nearly a month and now its probably gonna take longer seeing as theres even more people entering

@bloody_red27 & BeerBong, well 68 and 235 isnt that bad when u look theres more than 5000 entries maybe if u promote it more youll get higher place

@eloi: Yeah, black does look quite smart. Personally I still prefer the coloured one. The reason I chose those colours was that I had a cover for my old Nokia 8210 (way back when ) which had similar colours and I really liked that. I was hoping if I won a personalised N76 I'd have a phone with that colour scheme again!

When making the design I was also thinking how cool it would be if you could choose not just colour but also qualities like matte / shiny, metallic, neon-colours etc... For example, on mine I'd like the coloured background to have a sparkly, metallic texture and the white doodles to be matte white. I think that could look really interesting - indoors the phone would look like what you see on that preview, but in bright light (like in the sun) the background might be brighter than the doodles. I like stuff like that

That Black N76 looks super good. wow i think you have pretty good chances with this one!

and yes, we are not bad in the ranks, but i haven't advertized it really, just here and shortly on my blog, but that's it .. i'm gonna da some heavier advertizing at the end of the contest
