Nokia 5320 XpressMusic Gets Over The Air Update!
Some news from our Forum Section, our Akapu reports that Nokia has quietly released a new firmware update for one of the most underrated S60 phone ever!
Yeah, I am talking about Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and firmware version 3.26. Update is not officially announced, or yet distributed through the Nokia Software updater and is only available Over The Air at the moment for certain product codes.
Firmware upgrade Over The Air is technology introduced with the 3rd edition, to enable fast and cost effective firmware updates. As you would imagine, the firmware update is always recommended because it usually improves the performance and reliability of your phone but in this case you should think twice before up... .. .

I simply love the title of this article, it's fitting in many aspects. Nokia really does symbolizes The Empire(the dark side). The endless efforts to impose their will on us, by looking for every opportunity(through firmware updates) to capture/recapture and gain control over our (consumers') rights and liberties over OUR phones, imo.
Those of us whom forget and/or ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

hmm interesting take. But growing up watching those movies, you KNOW you loved the Dark Side of the force!
I really like the 5320 XM and hope Nokia upgrades this phone to have a 3.2MP, A-GPS, and hopefully WiFi. Great weekender phone when you're in full 3G coverage. I almost bought one because the price was so cheap, but the E51 had WiFi for the same price, and I didn't want that, so glad I held out for the E71.
But I fear the NAM FW upgrade for the E71 will have this new implementation for system security.
