Ok this is annoying me like most of the other MSN plugins.
When I sign in I get loads of contacts added that have since been delete from my account.
If I login on the Web to Windows live contacts I only have 24.
If I sign into my msn client on my PC I have 24 contacts.
When I sign in on my phone it adds over 100
Until the contacts thing is fixed I will not use this plug in

It seems there are 2 types of MSN plugins in my contact fields. MSN and MSN(haze). I'm not familiar with msn, but maybe they're 2 different instant messaging solutions.
I'm looking in my uninstall applications and here is what i have installed:
1)Extra protocol plugins for converstations and contacts.
2)MSN protocol plugin for conversations and contacts.
I also installed another program for instant messaging wich seems extremly complex. It has support for plugins of all sorts.
The program is called Pidgin Internet Messeger.
Looking in the uninstall programs here is what i have installed.
1)pidgin Internet Messenger.
2)Pidgin Extraprotocols (bonjour and Sametime)
3)Pidgin protocols plugin for Conversation and Contacts (i'm not sure how this relates to pidgin, as it is a standalone program, apart from conversations and contacts)
4)Pidgin Status Menu Plugin for Maemo 5 (turn this plugin on in Pidgin to see pidgin in the status area) Id basicaly adds a notification to see if someone messaged you, if you are not in the program. It appears in the status bar, near the battery sign.)
The plugins embeded in the conversations and contacts, obviously add the capability to create a very detailed agenda. You have a person, and you can basicaly add details like phone number, birth date, msn yahoo id, mail, etc. The most comprehensive contact applications on any device to date.
WHat is missing is the ability to edit the tag like in s60 contacts app. So instead of "mobile (home)", you should have the ability to edit it and write "vodafone" or "orange"
Pidgin on the other hand seems the most comprehensive messaging program i have ever had on a device. It seems even better than trilian on my pc.
Apart from the huge customizability, it allows the sending and receiving files, and i was pleasantly surprised it had, for the yahoo network, each and every smiley yahoo protocol recognizes, and again, these are smileys i didn't even know exist, so i have never seen them in yahoo messenger for windows, but when i send them from the phone, the yahoo messenger on the pc recognized them. I;m sure there are many more things to say about pidgin, but this is all i have discovered in the very limited time i have used pidgin.
Man, this has got to be the hottest phone i have ever had.
