Leaked Change Log Of PR2.0 Firmware For Symbian^3 Devices

As we already reported couple of months ago, there's a lot of activity underway, Nokia programmers working on more than 50 modifications and improvements based on early user feedback and most of them are planned to come in the first quarter of 2011.
Despite the recent strategy changes and choosing the Windows Phone as primary OS for company's high-end devices, Nokia is planning to some new features such as NFC and significantly upgrade the touchscreen text input by offering a split screen, a portrait mode keyboard, and the Swype system for typing connected letter groups.
Company is also planning to completely renew the browser which is by far the worst part of the Symbian^3 operating system. The new browser will be offered as stand... .. .

What an update! You're getting the treatment that Nokia promised. That's for sure. 
That update will be worth the waiting.

its about time. Just don't understand why this update did not come out earlier or from the beginning!

They should fix the Mail sync problem. I hope they do cause that has been lacking in he last update.

It was originally planned to be released earlier this year but thna it gets delayed because this time they want to make it right and release only well backed updates that will not cause new bugs and frustrations amnong users, at least that's what my source says....

Elop doesn't have an attachment to Symbian. He saw first hand what was happened with Symbian's development just like what some current/ex Nokia employees wrote in the comments and pulled the plug.
Oh yea Elop confirmed that burning platform memo was real not that it matters now.
