I agree withasterolykos, I don't like that extra long screen, it makes the phone look ugly and really long, I like hi res stuff but I don't really like wide screens, I like to be able to actually watch something at a fixed point without having to move my eyes every time something appears on the other edge of the screen, not because I want to see that something with more details, but because I can't see it at all

Another one of Sharp's interesting products that looks to be a Symbian is their SH-01A (8 MP CCD camera with 28mm wide angle lens). The FCC filing for it is here. Why I think it's a Symbian phone? Open the DoC of Bluetooth Compliance and read the first bullet, immediately under the patent numbers:
Bluetooth software stack of this product is developed by TOSHIBA
CORPORATION, and contains Toshiba Embedded Bluetooth Stack
for Symbian with the copyright of TOSHIBA CORPORATION.

By the way, Sharp always has the best screens on their mobiles phones, I tried their dummy phone resolution 'compressed' on the ~2? screen several years ago! Yes, they had VGA phone with amazing pixel density few years back but we still have to strain our eyes with QVGA products from Nokia!

what kind of OS has this phone got?
and i agree Apocalypso, Sharp has always had the best displays, i remember a LOOONG time ago when were selling their first 240x320 phone, i was wondering why anybody needed that resolution in a phone since you couldn't see the pixels. at the time i was using a SE T610 with 128x160 which was considered pretty high end (because it had a camera and bluetooth

Holy Sh** ! That's what i call a screen !
A good screen need to have the follosing parameters if a phone is without qwerty.
As big diagonal as possible, to make good use of on screen keyboard.
And big rezolution to make good use of the screen.
A revolution is coming amoung mobile devices. In a few years, everything will be touched based. This way we will have endless keys possibilities.
Gene Rodenberry was a smart man when he imagine star trek in which every console is a screen with touch capabilities back in 1980s or so when the Picard star trek was launched, the NExt Generation.
Prepare to say goodby to buttons in a few years. I may not like it, but it's the logical step forward !
