SQRXZ Requires Fast Reflexes And Is A
Simply Mindblasting Jump 'n' Run Puzzle Game
SQRXZ is a nice platformer with puzzle elements. Hop around, collect stars, stomp on enemies, avoid traps and reach the exit in each level. The game offers 15 levels of oldschool platform fun reminiscent of the classic Amiga era.
SQRXZ (2010) is a remake of a game with the same name and has been created by Rodolphe Boixel (Thor), Shahzad Sahaib (Kojote), Simon Butler and Brendan Ratliff (Syphus). Minor support came from Marcus Vesterlund himself who also gave permission to redo his game.
A remake should be usually bearing improvements, so does Sqrxz 2010. Beside the “classic” graphic mode, there is a new mode with “deluxe” graphics. The main gameplay has modified in a way that you need to collect all items to open the doo... .. .

BoomShine For S60 5th Ed Devices
Test Both Your Patience And Desire To Win!
Just a quick note to say I was playing a great online flash game developed by Danner Miller the other day and decided it would make a great Nokia N97 game, so I contacted Danny and asked his permission to do it.
I wrote the entire thing from scratch but kept the look and feel exactly the same as the original Boomshine version.
I've also added a Leaderboard function so if you wish to submit your score once (or IF) you complete the game you will receive worldwide recognition of having too much time on your hands. The basic idea of the game is rather simple, game... .. .

Test Your Reflexes And Hand-Eye
Coordination With This Colourful Challenge
Some of you may remember this simple but addictive game back when it was only available for Symbian UIQ devices but the good folks at Binary Core have recently ported it to the S60 5th Ed platform which means that game is now playable on the latest Nokia touch devices such as Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 or Nokia 5530.
Actually, not a whole lot has changed over the last few years, but not much needed to change at all and I am still happy with its simple but addictive gameplay. Fans of the original game will feel right at home here as it stil requires a good portion of dexterity and speed and the best of all it is still FREE!
For those of you that have no clue o what I am talking to, let me enlighten you. QuickBlock is a simple but yet very fun game that allows you to train your reflex by mov... .. .

'Kolor Lines For 5th Edition First Qt Based Game For S60 Devices
Kolor Lines is the first playable game for S60 5th edition that runs under the Qt for S60 "Garden" release that I found (so far) and is just one of many examples demonstrating the benefit of one common application framework: Qt. Smart, creative code can more easily conquer new platforms.
According to the Kolor Lines author, it was not too hard to put a few #ifdefs into the KDE version of the code in order to have a pure Qt version running on his Nokia 5800 XM.
Kolor Lines is a Qt version of popular classic DOS game "Color Lines" created by Olga Demina, where you have to put 5 or more balls in a row to make them disappear. In each tu... .. .

Space Dancer [alpha]
First Multi-Touch Like Game For S60
The first multi-touch like interface was introduced way back in 2006, when the NYU professor Jeff Han wowed the crowd at the March TED conference with a demo of his multitouch research but due to various technology limitations it was nearly impossible to get the real multitouch interface on devoices equipped with capacitive touchscreens.
However at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Stantum has demoed an improved multitouch interface on resistive screens that combines the multi touch interface with the accuracy of a resistive touchscreen with an amazing result and the only problem with this technology is that it requires specialized hardware so there won’t be an upgrade for existing touch devices like the Nokia 5800 or upcoming Nokia’s flagship touch device.
Fortunately, my friend Jamie Fuller, developer of the cool Rotary Dialer application and an addictive Sensitive game, goes beyond all hardware limitations with the release of his new pr... .. .
