Time Machine Gets Major Update!!
Freeware & Easy To Handle Timer Application

Time Machine

Well, it's a stopwatch and there's not much to say about this cute freeware application except it is optimized for touch user interface and is very easy to handle with a big 'Count Up', 'Count Down', 'Stop', 'Reset' and the 'Exit' button.

However, the latest update brings lot of improvements in the user interface and functionality. First of all, author has managed to find solution to overcome the serious Flash Lite limitation and it is finally possible to run it in background.

Furthermore there is a full screen clock mode which could be additionally used as a fairly good-looking table clock for your home but you can also run it in the office and our colleagues will certainly be impressed ;)

The UI is improved as well and offers a new ultramodern user interface with a five different stylish colors that you can easily change by clicking the blinking light icon when application is not active (icon not blinking).

Finally author has also managed to fix the sound volume problem so now you can blow you ears out. Last but not the least, there is and also Option to choose clicking sound and/or vibration (or nothing) when pressing buttons. It looks like a great update that definitely worth downloading!!

Time Machine

Time Machine lets you count the remaining or passed time for what ever purpose you can imagine and that's basically all it does but it does it well and you can use it whenever you need a basic countdown tool.

Time is measured in intervals of one second and for the countdown function you need to use the up arrows above the numbers to adjust the start time and than use 'Count Down' and 'Stop' buttons to start and stop/pause the timer. Alarm function is also included and will notify you once when the countdown reaches zero (i.e.Egg Timer)

I guess that main goal was to develop comprehensible, small and accurate timing tool without bloating it with unnecessary features. Time Machine is a nice, easy to use freeware application for everyone that reminds you of timely matters, such as cooking, timing yourself for a test or speech, or hundreds of other uses, just set up the timer and rest your mind about it.

Time Machine

Change log in v2.0:

  • Total rewrite of timer code.
  • Now it works in background, sort of. You see, flash applications don't work on background or when phone is locked and there's nothing I can do with that. But now when Time Machine is brought to foreground or phone is unlocked it finds out the right time and jumps straight to there. This works well when counting up but when counting down it can pass the zero without alarming.
  • Clock mode. Just normal 24h clock.
  • New ultramodern user interface with five different stylish colors. You can change between interfaces by clicking the blinking light when it's not blinking.
  • Option to choose clicking sound and/or vibration (or nothing) when pressing buttons.
  • Finally managed to fix the sound volume problem, now you can blow you ears out.

I would also like to give some credits to author of this handy application and if anyone knows who he is please let me know.
