Mobile Paint For 5th Ed
Discover The Inner Artist In Yourself!
How much time have you wasted in your life on Microsoft Paint? Well, if you one of those people who love sketching and painting and if you’re looking to use your phone as a sketchbook or drawing pad, here is the nice freeware paint application that turns your phone into simple drawing pad.
Ok, it is not exactly mobile version of PhotoShop, but it might be the next big thing for taking digital art on the go.
Mobile Paint is a fully functional painting application created by Nokia as an example demonstrates drawing and other touch UI features of S60 5th Edition.
The application provides a number of drawing options that can be selected from a handy PhotoShop like toolbar.
It’s a pretty basic program without support for layers, text input, fill option and it has only one undo option, but it’s still a cool stuff to try out and to show off to your friends and in the hands of someone with artistic talent the result could be stunning.
It uses the pressure sensitivity of the 5800’s resistive touch screen to control the stroke with stylus, much like on an expensive Wacom drawing boards.
It has very simple and easy to use user interface with floating toolbar that allows you to select any options/tools you need to draw. It can do very precise drawing with the line and shape tool, but unfortunately you’ll not be able to fill the shapes.
In the zip package ypu'll find two installation files as there are two toolbar options, CAknToolbar and a custom floating toolbar and it is highly suggestible to install the file with custom toolbar because you'll be able to move it around the screen and put it on the best possible place depending on the current graphic.
