Meteor Arkanoid BETA 3
Game Developer Needs More Testers!
 Meteor is an action brick-breaking game (arkanoid, breakout, block-breaker) with 90 levels, beautiful space scenery and, rich sound effects and most importantly, Symbian S60 5th Ed version of the game is currently under heavy development and Nokia 5800 XpressMusic version is around the corner.
In this brick-busting game your goal is to destroy moving blocks and static destructible bricks. Hostile robots will fight against you. Enemy ships and non-destructible blocks will prevent you from breaking bricks.
Many power-ups will help you to cope with the task. Some blocks contain useful bonuses - rocket enhancer, plasma ball, fire ball and various types of weapons and defence. Other blocks contain not so useful power-downs - for example, a rocket decrease or a slow speed.
They are currently looking for gamers of all kinds interested in testing the game on Nokia 5800 so if you one of those lucky 5800 XM owners and you are interesting in just get it, test it and don’t forget to share your thoughts, report any bugs and post a possible suggestions for improvements over at our forum section.
The BETA 3 version improves the sounds effects and fix the annoying switching to landscape mode by disabling the ASR feature within game, if you find anything that should be improived or fixed please report it on related forum topic.
I've been beta testing this game for the last few days and I have to say I love it. You see, I don't play games very often lately, actually I don't have time to play games at all anymore but I find myself launching this cool game a couple of times a day. It is very easy to control it , just touch the rocket contour on the finger bar and move it left or right to control the ship and tap anywhere higher than the rocket paddle to launch a ball or to shoot.
Game is in the final stage and should be released as soon as developers improve sounds effects a little bit so if you would like to test it before others better hurry up.
90 levels, over 60 types of blocks, 3 types of meteors (balls), 16 power-ups, beautiful space scenery and breathtaking gameplay will entertain people of all ages.
