Brew And Drink Beer On Your Phone!

Liquids and electronics never get along well, but apparently, the XpressBeer and the Nokia Touch devices such as 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia N97 go down well along with one another!

XpressBeer is very simple yet fun Python based application that provides you with unique opportunity to brew and drink beer without damaging your liver and making your motor skills worse ;)

It fills up phone screen with a virtual lager and hook into the accelerometer to detect phone orientation, so every phone movement will result in a corresponding beer swish... .. .

nAlertMe Gets Supports For Samsung Gsensor
New Sensor Framework, and Nokia 5th Edition

Can't tell you how happy I am that Samir is back, AikonLab is alaive, and that his highly anticipated nAlertMe application just gets major update and is ready for downloading and testing!

Beta 4 version of the nAlertMe application brings bunch of improvements, minor bug fixes and the most importantly significantly increased compatibility and security.

Application now supports new Nokia S60 sensor framework and should works just fine on all Nokia's S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 devices. UI is now more finger friendly and fully compatible with Nokia’s devices based on the 5th edition of the S60 platform such as Nokia 5800 and forthcoming Nokia N97. Classic Arcade Moon Landing Simulation

'MooLan' is a space shuttle pilot maneouvering game which utilizes handset accelerometer and proximity sensors as well as the camera.

The game concept is adapted from the classic 'Moon Lander' game but takes it in a new direction through the innovative use of platform functionalities.

The Coolest Weapon Ever Gets An Update!
Now Supports 3rd Ed FP2 and the 5Th Ed Devices!

Graham has just informed us all about the major update for his famous Light Sabre application for S60 devices. Thanks to the inclusion of the new S60 Sensor Framework, the coolest weapon ever is now compatible with the Nokia's devices based on the 5th edition of the S60 platform (Nokia 5800 & upcoming Nokia N97) and brings an improved finger friendly user interface.

Although it is developed for and tested on the Nokia 5800 only, it should works with 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 devices like Nokia N96, Nokia N85, Nokia N79, 6210 Navigator, as well as to Nokia E66 which is based on the Feature Pack 1.

ShakeSMS Gets Support For
New Sensor Framework and Nokia 5800

Ton Ren, developer of few very popular accelerometer based applications for S60 devices has rolled out a major update for his 'SMS shaker '.

Same as with FlipSilent the main improvement is addition of the support for the new sensor framework which makes it compatible with most of the latest N and Eseries devices including the Nokia N96, N85, N79, 6210 Navigator and Nokia E66.

Finally, and possibly even most importantly, application is now fully compatible with the 5th ed devices and I can confirm that it works just fine on my Nokia 5800! Great Marble Maze game, Nokia's Step Counter, Hi-N-Bye, Rock-N-Scroll, Inclinometer, FlipSilent, number of compatible applications slowly grows and situ... .. .

Greatly Improves The Off-road Safety

Dr Jukka is very active lately and he continues supplying S60 users with regular updates of his software and optimizing applications for the touch user interface.

After the Theme Scheduler, Profile Scheduler and Fake messages, his Inclinometer application has been updated with support as well and now supports the 5th edition device and is finger friendly.

New application version is based on the New Sensor Framework API introduced with 5th edition of S60 platform but is also backported to S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 devices like Nokia N96, Nokia N85, Nokia N79, 6210 Navigator, as well as to Nokia E66 which is ba... .. .
