Frozen Bubble
A Ridiculously Addictive Puzzle Game

As you probably already know Frozen Bubble is a popular free puzzle/arcade/reflex game game which is available on several operating systems including Linux, Windows, Mac OS X.

The original Frozen Bubble was written in Perl by Guillaume Cottenceau, and uses the Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) library. The game features 100 levels and includes a level editor.

FlashBall - New Flash Lite game
An ultimate test of coordination and reflex

Here's simple flash lite game I made for Symbian s60 3rd devices! It's called FlasBall and you can play it by using only up, left, right and down keys. The scope of the game is to reach the goal without touching the walls.

You have to guide a little ball through the maze by keeping it on the bars, take it to the finish line and proceed to the next level.

Bars in your way are also trying to push you down. Some of them are reversing or locking your keyboard, others are pushing your ball in different directions and there's also the gla... .. .

Tricky Mirrors
Strategy at the speed of light

Once upon a time, there was an Amstrad CPC game called Reflector, wherein the player had to arrange mirrors on a grid so as to make a laser reflect from source to target within the time limit.

A new game called "Tricky Mirrors" uses the same idea and combines lasers with classic strategy for an experience enjoyed by players of all ages.

It’s also interesting that same as Creepy Invaders game is completely developed on a mobile phone, Nokia E60 to be precise, using the PyS60 interpreter and an onboard python editor to edit the source code. The game is influenced by the games Oxyd and Mir... .. .

Phone Fight
Hack and slash-em-up with your katana phone!

This is definitely not the best fighting game that I have ever tried and it is nothing compared to sword fights on the Nintendo Wii but it is still somehow special because it offers a freedom of swinging the sword around freely and allows you to hack and slash your friends with your katana phone.

Phone Fight is a prototype multiplayer sword-fighting game that is probably inspired by the cute light shaper application, where the fighting is controlled by an intuitive motion based control system that gives you unlimited control over the every swing and of course every swing has the cool and pretty realistic sound effects. Blast the space invaders
before they take over your phone!

Hannu's Creepy Invaders is the classic shoot em up game, just another clone of the very well known Taito's crusty arcade classic Space Invaders.

Maybe it is not as attractive as the motion controlled Accelerinvaders but it I still very interesting homebrew because entire game is completely developed on a mobile phone, all code as well as the graphics have been written on a Symbian Smartphone, Nokia E61i to be precise.

Wolfenstein 3D for S60 3rd Edition Phones

Symbian S60 just gets another PC port, Wolfenstein 3D the port of the very well known PC game for the S60 3rd edition phones. Of course, just like any other port beside the emulator you’ll also need an original game data file to get it to work.

It has been ported to a wide variety of systems, including 3DO, Super NES, Game Boy Advance, Acorn Archimedes, Atari Jaguar, and the Apple IIGS and finally Symbian.

I am not sure about gameply, as I didn’t tested it yet but graphic definitely doesn’t looks very attractive for me, but is actually expectable from one DOS game released 15 years ago. Doom, Ohinkka’s Quake or Quake 2 ports looks quite bett... ..

The Very First QUAKE II Port
for S60 3rd Edition Phones

Another hot news comes up at our forum, Mr. Ohinkka, developer of the famous and the best Quake port for Symbian phones, has just released the very first Quake II port for the Symbian OS over at our forum section.

This time only for phones with FPU and he will consider doing one for phones without FPU in the future.

Also N95-1 users can only use the software renderer as the OpenGL renderer will need more memory than it has. Needles to say, that you still need to update to firmware 2.x.x.x in order to pla... ..

Open GL ES Quake
for 3D Hardware Accelerated phones!!

The name says it all, Quake S60 is the S60 port of the famous first-person shooter computer game that was released by id Software on June 22, 1996 and it was the first game in the popular Quake series of computer and video games.

Hinkka has released the new version of its very well know Quake port and the most importantly he released the full 3D hardware accelerated GLquake for the Symbian S60 phones based on the great OMAP 2420 chipset, phones like Nokia E90, Nokia N95 (all versions) Nokia N82.

I still can't be live that we finally we got the first person shooter that takes most from the build in hardware and now game looks like it should have looked like from the begin... ..

Accelerometer Ball Game
Gaming with Nokia N95 using accelerometer!?

This fun MIDlet is inspired by a game that many of us played when we were little children where tiny marbles have to make their way around the obstacles, through the wooden maze, without losing it down a hole.

BallGame is based on the same idea, its a marble maze game for the Nokia N95 (it should works on Nokia N93i and Nokia N82 as well) that requires you to move a ball bearing through a maze but instead the two wooden knobs like in the real version this virtual game is controlled by detecting the movement of the phone through motion sensing, something like the Wiimote.
