WakeUpMe (pyBudzik), final English version
Radio and Music Alarm Clock For your Phone!

pyBudzikLet’s start day with some good news. I am happy to inform you that my friend Damian is back and he continues to amazes me with his simple but jet powerful applications.

After the very successful series of Accelerometer based applications (pyPiwo, pyRybka, pyMoneta and pyPoziomica) developed in Python and few handy system utilities like pyEkran he came with another interesting solution.

WakeUpMe is application that interacts with audio players and brings new dimension and functionality to alarm clock.

Actually this is small Python utility allows you to use your phone as the Radio Alarm Clock on the very easy way.

You can choose between three applications at the moment, LCG Jukebox, FIVN Player and default Visual Radio application. Of course if you want to use the radio application than you’ll have to attach the headset because phone use it as the FM antenna!

The latest version (4.0) fixes few bugs and adds also support for the SmartMovie and basically any other 3rd party player via the handy "Other" function.

You can set DivXPlayer or CorePlayer for example or any other player that has the play at start funtion, z:/sys/bin/.. is path where you can lokate the exe files that are neccessayr to associate application with the player (DivXPlayer.exe, CorePlayer.exe, FIVNPlayer.exe).

SmartMovie is more than welcome addition because now you can even wake up with your favorite video clip or video tone maybe ;)

Could be pretty handy solution for those who wakes up hardly or for those that simply prefer to hear their favorite radio station or play list instead the ugly alarm sound.
