LiveU! - Garden View
Live Animated Interactive Screensaver

This morning I wrote about Pulsepaper, applications for automated wallpaper changing that make your active desk somehow alive and now I have something even cooler, a freeware flash lite based screensaver that truly brings your phone to life.

LiveU is an innovative concept that displays live animated and interactive screensaver on your favourite mobile devices according to the current time of the day.

Your device's display is in sync with the actual time and screensaver shows the content according to the time set in the device as if it is live.

I’ve tested it last Tuesday with my N95, and I'm not sure if I could even explain why I found it unique and very attractive to look at but with necessary modifications and improvements.

So, I’ve contacted the developer with some crazy ideas how to make it even better and just a two days later I am so happy and proud to say that my suggestions are accepted and that latest version of the LiveU screensaver features indicators and looks quite better now.

Below are the previews of the first LiveU screensaver named "Garden View" during different hours of the day.

Sure, there rae still some space for improvements and it is necessary to improve interaction with S60 UI and include more indicators, indicators like BT, Messages, Missed calls but battery, network, clock and date are just fine for now.
