Freeware PiipTv Plugin for Mediaportal
 There are bunch of S60 phones that support DVB-h standard now and with the Nokia Mobile TV Receiver it is possible to get the TV stream even on the phones that natively comes without support for DVB-H standard. Sounds great indeed, but there is a little problem, actual service is not widely available as yet and DVB-H coverage still isn’t as good as it should be.
Therefore we have to look for the alternative solutions for the live TV stream and freeware application that just appeared over at our form section (in my mailbox as well) looks as the pretty handy solution although it is a little bit complicated to get it to work.
In synergy with MediaPortal, PiipTv provides great XMLTV / IPTV experience to your Nokia N95 / N95 8GB / N82 / E90 / E51 phone using Video center build-in client in Nokia phone.
It actually uses your home computer as a server which shares content from your TV-card and then you can watch live TV stream on your phone or another computer. Also you can download video on your phone or record videos.
