20 August 2007

Take a "spy" photos with your phone!

Phone Alone

Have you ever have fantasies of being a secret agent or at least dream about discrete photographing fellow revelers at swanky events with your phone as disguised camera but unfortunately it was impossible because treacherous warning shutter sound and light that is impossible to disable it? Well, thanks to the new cool freeware application for 3rd edition phones your dreams can be reality!

Anyway, the cCam (pronounced “see-cam”) is a camera capture application that runs on S60 3rd edition phones that allows us to capture pictures with no shutter sound and no flash light!

The captured images are saved to the default image directory on memory cards. It also features an option to set the focus range and a link to take us to the gallery.

I’ve just test it on my N95 and it works just fine but unfortunately it doesn’t support the two point trigger key and therefore lacks auto focus what is compensated by the focus range settings which is nice solution.

So that’s it, all we need now is the some good party and some drunk friends :D
